At the age of ten, after being rescued by Timmy Turner from an assault by Francis, Tootie made a not-so-silent vow to return the favor. Unfortunately, her newfound hope was quickly snuffed after being beaten within an inch of her life by her sister Vicky after (unintentionally) finding her Timmy memorabilia stashed away in Vickys room. It was that night in intensive care that she made the choice to stand up for herself.
It brought her to research many martial arts in her leisure (whenever she wasnt stalking Timmy) finally settling on the art of Karate as her choice. When she wasnt taking ballet classes, shed spend hours in the library or on the computer gathering information on its origins and methodology. As her knowledge increased, so did her confidence that one day, she would defeat her sister and win Timmys love.
Her parents were so impressed by her fascination that they let her create a dojo in their basement. Vicky, however, was less than pleased about this, and thus antagonized Tootie as often as possible. Her sisters constant threats, bullying, and physical punishment ultimately proved to be nothing more than distractions, however, as Tootie trained in secrecy (Vickys new job kept her away from home.) Her love for Timmy and drive to learn made it on the nigh of impossible to deter her, despite his penchant to brush her off.
A couple of years later, Tooties obsession for Timmy had gotten too much for her parents, and Vicky had become absolutely disgusted with it. They agreed upon placing Tootie in Ryan Academyan all-girls boarding school far north of Dimmsdalewhich Tootie was less than thrilled about. She had currently developed a relationship with Veronica, who had also shared a devout interest in Timmy. Their friendship transcended their rivalry, and she doubted shed ever find a kinship like that again.
Despite her misgivings, she made friends with peers who had quirky personalities like her own. Tootie quickly found herself at home with the ability to train, explain her Timmy obsession, and get support from others. She had her share of bullies to deal with, howevershe wasnt exactly deemed normal in certain circles of the academy for her eccentricities (and the prevailing wisdom that geeks werent supposed to fight back) so she was constantly singled out. While Tootie was never the one to throw the first punch, this quickly led to her starting a small career in fisticuffs during recess, or any other time an academy official wasnt to be found.
The headmaster caught wind of this, and to prevent expulsion, he offered to make arrangements for Tootie to travel to karate schools across the country for formal instruction, in exchange for keeping her hands to herself for a whole month. With support from her peers and some academy staff members that were fond of her, she was able to pull the task off very well. However, the training she would endure would be brutal, as the headmaster had found two of the most demanding sensei Tootie would ever know.
The majority of her days would be spent going to classes, studying, and then honing her Karate skills under the harshest conditions. It would take unimaginable effort from her to get the respect of her sensei, and many a time had she considered giving up. The training would bring the three closer as they understood more about what martial arts meant to Tootie. They saw the hidden potential within her, and were determined to see her reach it however possible. After they let her perform an exhibition of her refined knowledge of Karate at the academy, she soon became a popular figure, even earning admiration from the bullies that once chastised her.
Although she would occasionally use time from her trips home to stalk Timmy, martial arts became an irreplaceable part of her life. She had even written to Veronica, telling her that she could pursue Timmy without competition from her. Timmy still had her heart, but with her life immersed with more pressing interests, and his support group keeping her at bay, she forsook her promise to protect him, thinking that shed never have the opportunity to act upon it.
Although she wasnt taking ballet classes anymore, her sensei encouraged her to blend what she had learned under them with what she knew about dance. After a refresher course with her old dance/ballet instructor, she worked tirelessly to mesh the arts together. Through strong will and overwhelming curiosity, it led her to create a dynamic fighting style that impressed her classmates and Sensei alike. With her newfound confidence, she thrived in her classes, and became a strong leader among her peers.
By the age of sixteen, she had become a full-fledged black belt. She was rewarded by the headmaster with a night on the town with a few of her friends to party and shop. Sadly, that night would also be the most traumatic for her. Blindsided with mace by a masked thug in a loud club, she was pummeled severely until the aggressor deemed her unable to stand. The night ended with her being carried off in a stretcher.
After an eleven-day coma, Tootie found herself near completely with bandages, and her familys presence surrounding her. Vicky had "caught" the suspect (as in she mauled him into a bloody pulp) but the redhead suspected that he was some sort of lackey. It was at this time Tootie considered quitting martial arts, her spirit all but deflated from letting her guard down. Her sensei would have none of it, though, and through pep talks and encouragement, the young brunette pledged to assert herself twice as hard after recovery.
Six weeks later, with her resolve more firm than ever, she tore into her training with a vengeance, reaching new heights in power and skill. In the summer of the following year (after completing training for her first black belt stripe) she returned to Dimmsdale as usual, checking up on Timmy and Veronica. Little did she know the challenges she would face when she arrived

I feel that a big problem with today's society is that we don't listen to our fellow man - especially when I'm talking.
